2018 BAM Cup Round 12, Grace and Beauty at Center Tech

Round 12 was played and the incredible Center Tech Disc Golf Course.  Our aerial view here shows what a world class venue this course is.  Several in the BAM club feel the course is too challenging for this group, no question a top tier disc golf course like this one can be challenging to newer disc golfers.  The play was brisk and so was the weather as both birdie and bogey was the common theme.  It was feast or famine as several disc golfers would birdie one hole and come back for a double bogey on the next.  Matt B. would prove to be the champion with a +1 score, Dave C. was in second with +2 and a tie between Mike B. and Brad B at +3 score.  Nathan struggled at +9 as he spent most of the round experimenting with different discs.  Many heard him say “wonder what this disc will do in the wind” as he grabbed and unknown under stable disc.  Yes the gallery has dubbed Nathan the “mad scientist” and you never know what he will do next.  Nathan set a new BAM record with 4 double bogies.  Nathans double bogies alone add up to a scratch round at about any disc golf course. (ok not really)  Doug K. struggled as this was a new course for him.  He also set a BAM disc club record by loosing half the discs in his bag into the water.  Fly Green Disc Golf loves it when the BAM club plays Center Tech.  Things just did not go well as he scored a double bogie and that days only triple bogey.  Rough day for Doug but still fun.
