Not Since the Hindenburg has there Been a Greater Crash and Burn

In history there have truly been some historic crash and burns, The Hindenburg disaster, Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and now BAM Disc Golf Round 11 at Lighthouse. This was such a complete choke by the BAM competitors, the Heimlich maneuver wouldn’t even help.  Sports has not seen a bigger group of chokers since the 1990’s Buffalo Bills. Not since Tiger Woods was beaten with his own golf clubs, by his wife has there been such a thorough trashing in an individual sport.  All members of the BAM disc golf club truly put in a sickening performance. So sickening that Matt B. vomited in his disc golf bag out of disgust.  Did he have a migraine you ask or was it just a group of skilled players moving into bogey town for the long haul?  “What happened?” Mike asked, who could not play this round.  Where to start? Brad B. missed about 6 foot drop in putt to start things off.  Then on the next hole Brad threw a disc 400 feet, in the wrong direction. You certainly would not want to have missed Nathan K. loosing his disc golf bag.  Not a disc his whole bag was just gone.  Then of course how do you forget hole number 6.  The hole featured a 90 degree, par 4 dog leg left with serious out of bounds and rough. How did the BAM group play this?  The BAM group threw multiple discs into the deep rough, and managed to score not one but two TRIPLE bogies.  There where plenty of triple and double bogies to go around on this day.  Blame it on the wind?  Not possible as the winds where very mild at 4mph. Blame it on the weather?  Sunny and 58 degrees on this day.  Just when you had the thought that the group was good enough to turn pro, they turn in a round like this. Yes their dreams of going on the pro tour and winning the equivalent of  Burger King wages was trashed. Dreams squashed, tail between their legs it is on the the next round of disc golf and hopefully a better showing.
