Elon Musk tests his mars lander at Westcreek DGC

We are proud to say that Elon Musk choice of Westcreek DGC was no surprise when picking a location to test his Mars lander.  To get to Mars by 2020 there is a need to test in environments as close to the Mars landscape as possible. Westcreek offers the best options for testing in desolate conditions.   On the main disc golf course Westcreek sports the same number of trees as Mars making it a perfect place to test the Mars lander.  Unlike Village Green Westcreek offers absolute desolation with no live trees but does offer semi-fossilized logs that will someday become petrified wood.  This was the setting for round 9 of the BAM cup chosen by Nathan.

It turned out to be a tough round, as the winning score was PAR when in the past -3 has been the score to beat.  Dave won it all with a PAR score for the day.  Nathan who chose the course, finished strong in 3rd place.  Brad used the old “I am So Sick I shouldn’t be here” excuse in an attempt to throw off other competitors. As always this tactic did not work. Michael was able to again get into Brad’s head, with his positive affirmations.  We recorded a session on the back nine where Michael succeeds in getting into Brad’s head with his dastardly SMACK talk.  Some call this a violation, others call it just down right mean. Brad only responds well to negative criticism and blew a -3 lead when the positivity rose to new level.  This lead to nonstop flight on the bogie express.  Michael said “show me the rule that that says I can’t be supportive”. Mean yes, cruel yes but always an effective strategy.  Mike no doubt won the mental games this day.
